Gallery Image Section

The Gallery Image Section provides multiple layout options for displaying images in an engaging and customisable way. It offers flexibility in how images are arranged and displayed while also allowing users to interact with them for a closer look.

Key Features & Layout Options

Vertical Masonry

  • Arranges images in a column-based staggered layout, keeping their original aspect ratios.
  • Best for: Showcasing images of varying heights, such as photography portfolios or blogs.

Horizontal Masonry

  • Organizes images in a row-based layout where images adjust to fit the space while maintaining their aspect ratios.
  • Best for: Horizontal scrolling effects, panoramic images, or storytelling through visuals.

Grid

  • Displays images in a structured, evenly spaced grid with uniform or proportional image sizes.
  • Best for: Clean and organized presentations, ideal for product catalogs, galleries, and portfolios.

Slider

  • Shows images in a slideshow format with navigation controls.
  • Best for: Featured content, promotional banners, or storytelling slideshows.

Additional Options

Container Size Adjustment – Modify the overall size of the slider.

Image Display Options:

  • Cover – The image fills the container, cropping if necessary.
  • Contain – The image fits entirely within the container without cropping.
  • Fill – The image stretches to fill the container, which may distort proportions.

Thumbnail Gallery

  • Displays a main featured image with smaller thumbnails for navigation.
  • Best for: E-commerce product images, portfolios, or image comparisons.

Additional Options:

Container Size Adjustment – Modify the overall size of the main image above the thumbnails.

Image Display Options: (Cover, Contain, Fill – same as slider)

Interactive Feature: Fullscreen View & Zoom

Regardless of the selected layout, users can click on an image to open it in a larger view. Once in fullscreen mode, they can:

  • Zoom in and out to explore finer details.
  • Close the image in larger view

What Can You Use It For?

  • Photography Portfolios: Showcase high-resolution images with zoom functionality.
  • Restaurants: Display your menu to your customers
  • E-commerce Stores: Allow customers to inspect product details before purchasing.
  • Design Showcases: Let users view artwork or designs up close.
  • Blog & Magazine Layouts: Enhance storytelling with interactive visuals.
  • Marketing & Presentations: Use fullscreen mode to highlight key details in promotional content.

Changes

Google map section enhancement

  • A description has been added to the API key field to explain its purpose, including a link that redirects you to a page detailing where to find it.
  • You have now 3 preset pins available in plus of the one you will create
  • The default map zoom level was increased to 15
  • When you use the zoom level, the center of the map is based on the center of the pins

Novelties

  • For an address when you expand the list of pin types, you will see now the picture of the pin and its name listed
  • For an existing address, clicking the link to select the longitude and latitude displays the location chosen during its creation

Full article blogs section

  • The full article section now has a more balanced layout, eliminating excessive spacing at the top and on the sides. Additionally, if you add images to the WYSIWYG content of the full article section and center them, they will be correctly displayed as centered on the site.

Categories articles section

  • The pagination of the category articles section now follows the default limit of the section if no limit is specified in the URL; otherwise, this is the limit from the URL that is taken into consideration.

Features section

  • The display of the feature blocks has been adjusted to match the height of the tallest block within a single region for the extended or top_left_right_bottom layout.
  • For layouts with 2, 3, or 4 adjacent regions, each block now adjusts its height based on its own image and description.

Corrections

  • Simple menu section: On mobile, if a menu item is linked to a section anchor, clicking it closes the menu and scrolls you to the section.
  • Interactive display section: When the interactive display section uses the slider, leaving the button label empty will prevent any button from appearing on the slider.
